I have been in full-time private practice from January 2006 at Cygnet Hospital Bierley and Cygnet Hospital Harrogate. I have a special interest in the treatment of personality disorders and psychological trauma. I am responsible for the New Dawn Ward at the Low Secure Hospital in Bierley. The hospital treats women with severe emotional instability and self-harm.

I am involved in the development of PTSD services at Cygnet Hospital Harrogate. I provide out-patient services at both Cygnet Hospital Bierley and Cygnet Hospital Harrogate. At Cygnet Hospital Harrogate I provide general in-patient care for private patients including an alcohol detox program and a rapid heroin detox. I am a Tutor and Medical Director at Cygnet Hospital in Bierley.

I have been involved in Medico-legal work since 2000. I am currently preparing on average four to six psychiatric reports per month for the civil and criminal courts.
